Herbed Ham - Untested

1 picnic ham (about 6-8 lbs)
1 bottle of lager-type beer
10 sprigs of rosemary
1 bunch fresh thyme
3 bay laurel leaves
4 cups water
  1. In a large oven-ready pot place the ham along with the beer, herbs and water.
  2. Cover and bake at 300F for 5 hours.
