1⁄2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1⁄8 tsp dry ginger
1⁄8 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup oat flour or whole wheat flour
1⁄2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 1⁄2 cups rolled oats
1⁄2 cup raisins
1⁄4 cup walnuts
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Cream the butter until fluffy then add sugar and beat until creamy.
- Mix in the beaten egg and vanilla.
- Combine the spices, flour, salt, baking powder, rolled oats and combine with the wet mixture.
- Mix in the raisins and walnuts.
- Bake for (10? 15? minutes until golden around the edges.
